Buhhhhh, the period post. Take another look and I think you'll see there's a problem there. >.<

Yuck! Cissexism has slipped under my nose! I need to do a better job of reading the comments on things I reblog. Consider it removed.

You make it seem like it's only white people who have criticised Michael (or any other PoC, for that matter) for lightening his skin (despite the fact that he had a serious skin disorder). While I know and agree that there are an endless amount of white pricks, I think that's a harsh judgement. A lot of people judged Michael - white people as well as PoC. My own grandmother, who is African American, said it was "a disgrace against PoC" that he "coloured" his skin. Stop over-analysing things.

I can’t speak from the pov of a PoC and so I don’t. I am only addressing the racism I see from my own white perspective and observations. As with all things, criticism of my own white perspective is not a judgment on all white people. It is an analysis of behavioral patterns and social phenomenon. I resent the sentiment that questioning and addressing racially biased thinking is in any way “over-analysing.” The fact is that we, all people, have not analyzed our thoughts, feelings, and actions enough regarding how we view or treat people that are different from us. If your perspective is different from mine then please, by all means, add that perspective to the discussion. But don’t tell me to stop analyzing and being critical of everyday oppressions, big or small, because you cannot control or silence my outrage with racism. And my analysis of the situation in no way harmed anyone, whereas silence about racism is compliance with racism, which hurts everyone.

Hey this isn't really a question but I just stumbled onto your blog and wanted to say that you are outspoken as shit and that is beautiful. Don't ever change because individuals like you are far too uncommon.

Uggghhh. This tumblr app is a pain in my tits! I’ve noticed that it will not update my blog info, so it will not show the correct number of followers or when I have messages. I can even check the inbox, and nothing shows up. If I use my browser to look at the website version, however, I have 8 unread messages. 8! So sorry if you were like wtf, why hasn’t she responded to me??? I’m answering questions right now.
